MSSQL says there are other users when there aren't

MSSQL says there are other users when there aren't

(OP)
i have a table that says there are other users when I try to restore from a different server backup. I find the backup as a text file. Been doing this for years and never had this problem before. How do I tell MSSl 12 that everything is closed and there are no other users. I am working on a stand alone system. Windows 7

RE: MSSQL says there are other users when there aren't

What exactly are the messages? I don't think MSSQL is talking about the problem of current connections, but about users within the database backup, you want to restore, which are not known to this server. That's very likely as you say this is a different server backup.

Bye, Olaf.

SBTBILL,
Don't you think Olaf deserves a star for his help?

Have fun.
