Hi,

I've a problem with the attenuation/amplification signals of analog extensions.
in MD110 VERSION: CXP1010117/2/BC12SP6/R3B
FIRST i changed the trm for an extension 2000(excac :dir=2000, trm=1;or trm=2 ;or trm=3).
attenuate is THEN =2, RESULT: NO CHANGE!!!

please help me to find the ATTEN=1 or ATTEN=0 to extention 2000

Example:
A extension with TRM=3 and a trunk with TRM=4 are connected
then the switch path from the extension to the trunk has
ATTN=2 (0 dB), and from the trunk to the extension ATTN=1
(-3 dB (this means that the connection is amplified)).

So you are still playing with your long distance? -3db here and there won't help. But if you really want to try, use lsatp/lsati accordingly. Forget about sacos.... Value 0 in the table cannot be changed, so create a new one for your purposes

Hi, I just wanted to check the ICAT for the extension you are testing from (2000). The first digit indicates whether the port is used for speech or 3.1khz audio (fax). For 3.1 kHz type of extension, no digital attenuation is used. Having said that your configuration is for speech so this is not your problem. Worth checking anyway.wink

Just an example: LSATI:AVAL=0,LAW=A,AVAL=0-10; This gives on TRM=0 value -10dB. LAW is according to your law (u or a). Note that all routes and extensions, which have TRM=0 get 10dB attenuation, so be careful. Usually -10dB is not possible, but try some other values also. in any case, I don't think this helps here or there....

Impossibl change the value LSATI:AVAL=0,LAW=A,AVAL=0-10 (no change value defaut)

Position 2 in the LS will always be 0dB and cannot be changed. Your problem seems to be that regardless of TRM value, 2 is always used (I am taking your word for this as you have not shown any printouts to prove it). Changing values by LSATI will not help you. You need to know why the values in the C_TRANSPARAMMATRIX (51&&90)of SCP are being ignored.

Can you do PCLOP:UNIT=SCP; to see if any patches might be causing the problem.
