Ipoffice r10 server & ifax/Hylafax Enterprise server

Ipoffice r10 server & ifax/Hylafax Enterprise server

(OP)
Hi,

We are setting up a ifax server enterprise on a ipoffice.
We have a issue.
We have set up a sip trunk to the fax server.
A incoming call route point to a short ode with the same did dial same did group id sip trunk.
That works for receiving faxes.
To send faxes we have to register the fax server, the I created a sip extension and user.
When it tries to register I get a 405 method Not allowed "not allowed to register from a trunk" or something like that. If I disable the sip trunk the server can register and then I can send faxes but I can t receiv.

If I route incoming call to the extension the called number the fax receive is the extension, I m then not able to route the fax to the right email address.

Does anyone already have experience with ifax/Hylafax Enterprise?

Thx

RE: Ipoffice r10 server & ifax/Hylafax Enterprise server

The fax server should dial out the trunk it receives on, so you need to use ICR to route calls from the fax servers trunk accordingly smile

If the trunk is set up without registration will the ipo allow the server to call it trough that trunk ?
