Message waiting notification on 2 sets - 1 MB

(OP)
CICS 6.1 / VM will be a Flash 2 or CP100

Client wants MWI to show on two sets when there's a message. Thought about using a Hunt Group, but will the notification show on both sets?

RE: Message waiting notification on 2 sets - 1 MB

The only way via display is CP/NAM/BCM by using the Alternate DN feature and adding each HG member otherwise try Off Prem Notify to Internal to itself (HG DN) so that it will at least ring the set.

So Startalk Flash is out.

When using a Flash you might need to have the Off Prem call a spare port then assign an Answer DN key for that spare port if the above does not work.

Again using Flash if the set is limited for keys then I wonder if FNA the spare ports DN to the users set would assist.
