Avaya IPO Rls.10 and Contact Recorder

Avaya IPO Rls.10 and Contact Recorder

Hello ...

I have IPO 500v2 Rls.10, and the (IPO VMPro Recordings Administrators) licenses, in the Rls10 Knowledgebase I see that ther is just a contact recoder documents and read that is CR run on Application Server thats need UCM and I dont have it.
Is the UCM is neccessary for Contact Recorder ?
Can I Use ContactStore Software Instead of it ?

RE: Avaya IPO Rls.10 and Contact Recorder

Contact store & contact recorder are bassicly the same software (on beeing for linux) I dont recall seeing any notice of the Windows variant being ceased (althoug I alwasy recomend the linux option.)

to the best of my knowledge Contact recorder is NOT available on the UCM, you would need to install Aplication server on external hardware (after the experiencs withthe early UCM's many people would not consider using them anyway).

Contact store hasnt been update since release 7 of it - a good few years. The way to do it now is using Contact Recorder on the app server.
