(OP)
Hi
we have nortel 61c in our office. Whenever we dial any mobile or ISD number the call is going through, but we are not hearing the ring back tone from the dialer phone. I have checked the DTR in LD 20 and all the ports were showing IDLE.Could you please tell me what needs to be check for this?

RE: not getting the ring back tone some times

Ringback tone for outgoing external calls comes from the destination provider.
We get the same condition here sometimes depending on the cellular provider and maybe other circumstances that are outside the PBX control.

RE: not getting the ring back tone some times

In your CDB, FTR_DATA and RDB
are using TTBL 1 (Tone table)

Which one I need to change? If I give INI to the system will that resolve?

RE: not getting the ring back tone some times

RGBK
XTON 132

If you change the ATRN- COde and the SYSP- INTN, requires INI..

Hi Noypi
for the last 7 years the PBX system was running with the existing configuration. Last 1 week I am facing this issue. Some times calls are going through and some times giving blank and busy tone(Cause 127: Internetworking Unspecified) error. Do I need to change as your previous email to make the phones work?

Regards
BCU

Like Stanley...stated above.

RE: not getting the ring back tone some times

"Some times calls are going through and some times giving blank and busy tone(Cause 127: Internetworking Unspecified) error." This issue will not solve by the previous email. Consult to Nortel Distributor in your area to update latest patches for your Nortel 61C.
