mega search FAQ

mega search FAQ

Hi all,

Thank you so much for your all your tips.
I want to use the mega search in FAQ here:

I am wondering if there is any way to search using IF in here:

AddToWhere [Find1], "[CustomerName]", MyCriteria, ArgCount
AddToWhere [Find2], "[City]", MyCriteria, ArgCount

Let's say, if a user wants find what is in [Find2] which may be either in [City] [City2] or [City3], is there a where to do so? One combo box, but search multiple fields...?

Thank you in advance.

RE: mega search FAQ

You could write your own search:
Select [whatever]
From YourTable
Where [City] = [Find2]
Or [City2] = [Find2]
Or [City3] = [Find2]

Have fun.

There is a great need for a sarcasm font.
