Office 365 .NET Interop?

Office 365 .NET Interop?

(OP)
At my work I have written several programs that use interop to read from and write to/create MS Office documents (Excel and Word). I programmed these originally with Office 2007, then upgraded them to Office 2010. Now my work has migrated to Office 365, and we have all downloaded and installed Office 365 ProPlus. Today I went to upgrade all my programs to work with the new office, and there are no interop library references for the latest version of Office, which all say they are 2016.

I have tried Google searches to find an answer, but most of them talk about Office 2013. I have found some links that say to reinstall Office and select ".NET Programming Support" (or something like that) as an option during the install, but I cannot select *any* options for the install. It is from portal.office.com, and it is a one-click install that does not provide any options.

So, does anybody here know what I should do next? How can I get the interop assemblies for Office 2016 on my development machine?

Did you find any solution?

Yes, I did. It turns out that the interop assemblies are there, just the version wasn't what I was expecting. The version for Office 2016 is 14.0.0.0. Once I removed the old references and added the new ones for 14.0.0.0, recompiled and put the exe on the network, everything worked properly.
