Scenario:
  • Break VmPro by changing the Voicemail password in the client to mismatch the Voicemail password in IpO Security settings
  • Dial Voicemail i.e.*17
  • Get "Unobtainable" on the display
  • Monitor shows the failure

You need to change the password in security settings to match the password in VMPro

I think this was a Helpful Tip..and not a question.

it was definitely a tip but I am not sure how useful as I am pretty certain you would get the same message if the VM was switched off.

getting Engaged tone when dialing * 17 Tells you this anyway.

even so I am giving Bob a start as it will act a a reminder to check the password first (not that anyone who needs this answer bothers searching the forum before posting)
