RE: Capturing Incoming/Outgoing ROU on CIL

NI is incoming DID, the trunk line seems to be LIM5, rou1,tru5. The rest of the info depends of your form (cnlip helps). But send the clfop of that form you are using, it helps to figure out what is what

RE: Capturing Incoming/Outgoing ROU on CIL

Hi,
Your original question was: Anyone know how to configure my SMDR output to capture incoming Call ?
For this, the answer is there (NI is incoming DID). I'll send you later the description, what your form is doing. An advice: If you don't know about the forms, don't start playing with them.....

FORM=5,DATA=1-2J3&2-2J2&3-J1&4-1M&5-6P1&6-1M&7-5K&8-1M&9-3Z&10-1M&11-20E&12-1M&13-20E1
&14-1M&15-20G&16-1M&17-20G1&18-1M&19-9T1&20-9T2;

011216 013102 00010 NJ 77010 75008 75 75

011216 = day/month/year -all with 2 digits
space
013102 = call end time including seconds (01 hours, 31 minutes, 02 seconds)
space
00010 = call duration in seconds
space
NJ = Dialed party is not the answering party on an internal call
space
77010 = calling number
space
75008 = called number
space
the rest is not from your form (I think 75 is dialed number? Or trunk number or what?)

from 9-3Z further - not getting this to match

so, the form does not match with the printout. Send the real form

RE: Capturing Incoming/Outgoing ROU on CIL

Hi,

In sample1, no idea what the first 10 digits mean (sequence number or something?). In sample 2, looks like the date and the time are combined (no space). In any case, your formats (not any of them) don't match with the samples. So you need to create a new format (6), but to achieve a proper one, we need to know EXACTLY what all these figures mean?. The 3rd party translator needs to have a doc of this. To start guessing, merry Xmas!

RE: Capturing Incoming/Outgoing ROU on CIL

Dear fcpli

Thanks for your respond

Merry Xmas to you too. Do you think Uncle santa would ask you to be so kind and pass me a proper form format as a birthday present ?

I had a dream that a kind gentleman gave me a perfect form and may god bless him with good health and great wealth.

RE: Capturing Incoming/Outgoing ROU on CIL

Hi, this is Santa....
First of all, from where did you get the samples? And which one is valid? Then, most of the data in the format (sample2) is clear, but still, I need to have the 3rd party description, what all of this means. Are these samples from your PBX (no), but just from somewhere? Tell them to explain step by step the lines, then we can do something. Start guessing - Santa is back 2017....

RE: Capturing Incoming/Outgoing ROU on CIL

(OP)
Dear Santa fcpli

Once again thanks for your respond.

I shall post the other sample from the 3rd party reporting software call oaksi.

At the mean time let me get back to my maintenance computer and send you my system version as well.

Thank you and have a great day

Best regards
Jt

RE: Capturing Incoming/Outgoing ROU on CIL

The system version is not very important in this case. I need, as explained, the information from the 3rd party.
