RE: Dusyi Command

Check your duplicated side (if any)

RE: Dusyi Command

Hi
You type DCSSP Command to check system duplicated and you find the error!
and DUBDP command.
You can type DUSYI again.
Brs!

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)

thanks for reply ,

this command result:
<DCSSP;

I think there is error on date "14:45 12JUL06" instead of 16 typed 06 to correct this

Thanks

RE: Dusyi Command

How to fix his issue?

RE: Dusyi Command

"How to fix his issue? " What issue? If you mean the date on REL2 being 10 years ago, then do another DUSYI and it will be overwritten.

RE: Dusyi Command

You see file log of dump before, is there same that?
you type CADAP command, is date good?

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)

date is good:
<CADAP;
CALENDAR DATA
IDENTITY=CAD
VERSION=CXP1010104/4/TSWSP07/R8B
12:58:17
THU 29 SEP 2016
END

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)

is this normal ? this my question

RE: Dusyi Command

Hi activenew, your prints look OK to me. Your next DUSYI will overwrite REL2 and you will then have no dumps with the incorrect date.

RE: Dusyi Command

Hi, your CADAP is good. You wait next DUSYI and you print DUBDP command!

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)
Is must be run dusyi manually? Or this happens automatically.
NOTE: After a power failure the time on the system is incorrect.

RE: Dusyi Command

DUSYI is manual backup.
You can run an automatic backup with DUFQI.
See if this is already done with DUFQP;
To initiate do DUFQI:DATE=2016-10-04,TIME=02-00,INT=24;
This will perform a system backup each day (24 hours) at 2:00 AM starting on 4th October.
To end this do DUFQE;

RE: Dusyi Command

Hi,
I think you have a Problem with the "DATE" File of REL2.
Take a look to the DUBDP printout.
EXTERNAL BACKUP
LATEST PREVIOUS
REL2 REL1
14:45 12JUL06 15:42 26SEP16

Your latest dump is from "12JUL06", and the "older" one from 26SEP16

check this with
fidap:path=/sysn/usr1/ses/dr/rel1/*.*;
fidap:path=/sysn/usr1/ses/dr/rel2/*.*;

One possible solution might be to delete the DATE-file of REL2 and make a DUSYI again.

If this do not work, take a new flash-disk, create subfilesystems, format and mount the subfilesystems and do DUSYI.
BLEQI..
FIMOE..
IOSIE..
..Change Flash disk
IOSII..
FICRI..
FIMOI..
BLEQE..

best regards,
Norbert

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)
Your are right the problem with date ,

i want confirm there is any impact if ran this command:

fidap:path=/sysn/usr1/ses/dr/rel1/*.*;
fidap:path=/sysn/usr1/ses/dr/rel2/*.*;

my knowledge not much

Thanks again

RE: Dusyi Command

fidap is just a print command so no impact. It will print the files in the reload directories.

RE: Dusyi Command

P.S.
Little correction : REL2 is placed in /usr2/
correct:

fidap:path=/sysn/usr2/ses/dr/rel2/*.*;

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)

thanks for reply
check the result command:

have you deleted the old DATE-File in USR2 ?

not yet, just waiting confirm from your side , this command does not harm my system.

RE: Dusyi Command

here is a printout of my LAB Exchange :
<dubdp;

END

If you delete the date file in USR2 like I wrote, the Status of "latest" and "previous" backup will Change, and the next DUSYI; will overwrite the backup from 14:45 12JUL06

Then you should have 2 actual backups from today.

so do :
fidie:path=/sysn/usr2/ses/dr/rel2/date;
y;
dusyi;

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)
i have executed , dusyi now under process, let see how it goes.

thanks for your support

RE: Dusyi Command

activenew, your system is already damaged. The most recent date REL (REL1) should be the one the system reloads from and the oldest (REL2) should be overwritten by DUSYI. Your system is using the oldest date as the active backup so each DUSYI is overwriting REL1 but leaving REL2 as the active. You must now force the system to use REL1 as active and you can do this as snor says by deleting the date file for REL2. The next DUSYI will then write to REL2 and fix your problem.

RE: Dusyi Command

(OP)
finally got correct date:

< DUBDP;
