APAR numbers for different AIX 7.1 TLs

APAR numbers for different AIX 7.1 TLs

(OP)
Hi

I'm trying to install Oracle software on AIX 7.1 TL4
(oslevel -s shows "7100-04-01-1543")

However the installer is reporting that the following APARs are missing:
IV42025
IV42024
IV41380
IV37790
IV40002
IV40001

So, I'm trying to establish whether the fixes for these APARs are included in 7.1 TL 4.

Looking at http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=isg1..., shows different APAR numbers for different
versions of AIX, however 7.1 TL 04 is not listed.

I am new to AIX & APAR numbering, so I was hoping that somebody could explain if there is a way of using IBM's APAR website
to prove that the APARs above are in 7.1 TL 4 or not.

Many Thanks
Tony

RE: APAR numbers for different AIX 7.1 TLs

that is strange
maybe oracle installer has defect?

what do you see when you run following command on your 7100-04-01-1543 system:
instfix -i -k IV42025

also, can you show:

instfix -i|grep ML

and:

emgr -l

But because IV42025 is for 7100-00, it is not relevant for your TL4-SP1 so Oracle script is defect.
