Cannot get Job to run in SSMS 2008

Cannot get Job to run in SSMS 2008

(OP)
Hi

I have created a package and added it into SSMS Integration Services under Stored Packages and also MSDB. if I execute the package from SSIS or within the Integration services in SSMS then it runs ok.
If I add it to a job so I can schedule in SSMS Database Engine (all on the same server) I am getting errors and it cannot run. I have tried all sorts in the job to get it working but no luck. The current message is as below. Any ideas what could be wrong. I have googled a lot of the text below but cannot find a solution. Help please.

HI

Quick update, I have changed the owner of the job now to IT_SERVICES\PresC and I am now getting the message below.

Any ideas on this please? I assume it is a permission problem of some sort, but IT_SERVICES\PresC as full permsssions

Description: Cannot open the datafile "D:\Paragon import files\Testing\Todaysfile.csv". End Error Error: 2016-04-27 12:33:52.84 Code: 0xC004701A Source: Data Flow Task SSIS.Pipeline Description: component "Flat File Destination" (73) failed the pre-execute phase and returned error code 0xC020200E. End Error DTExec: The package execution returned DTSER_FAILURE (1). Started: 12:33:51 Finished: 12:33:52 Elapsed: 1 seconds. The package execution failed. The step failed.

RE: Cannot get Job to run in SSMS 2008

Are you developing on the server itself? Is "D:\Paragon import files\Testing\Todaysfile.csv" the location of the file on the server or is it somewhere else on your network?

Thanks
Michael

Hi

It is on the server itself. However we figured it out in the end. We gave permission to the SQLServer service account on the path and it now works.
Initally I had to set the job as myself and not sa and then give permissions to the folder for SQLServer service account as this is the account that runs the services for SQL Jobs.
