Root not able to run script correctly

Root not able to run script correctly

(OP)
I have developed a script using my account to read a set of directories owned by different users. Now I use root account to run this script. Its however not creating the output file which lists out the details on all directories owned by different users. What could be the reason.

The script uses a find command...

If not, my first guess is a spelling error or a 'typo' in the save path.

What happens if you redirect the output to stdout (the screen)? Does that give you a clue?
