Apache Performance Turning for high traffic site

Apache Performance Turning for high traffic site

Hi, Am building a high traffic website in php.

Can anyone suggest what could be the apache server settings ( startserver, maxclients etc..). I have 32 core aws instances with ELB, still for 2000 and above concurrent users, its failing to serve the request.

RE: Apache Performance Turning for high traffic site

I hate to direct you away from the site, but the Apache site has some good performance tuning tips. It depends a bit on what version/branch of Apache you're running (1.3, 2.0, 2.2).
