Copy and paste a list of values within a form field

Is there script or plugin that I can use to where a user can copy and paste a list of values from say one column of an excel document and paste them in a form field. Then once the user clicks submit I’ll be able to take each individual value and inner join them with a cfquery and display each result on another page?

thanks in advanced

RE: Copy and paste a list of values within a form field

This would be best asked in another scripting forum (coldfusion, php, etc) appropriate to the scripting language available on your server.

If a column is copied from Excel, it will paste into a textarea as a plain text list with line breaks. So you just need to process the array in your chosen scripting language, divided by line breaks.
