Customer has basic 9.0, wants external paging with valcom 1030 horn, in programming at aux. Equipt I make loud page for analog ext #16,but no page ,what else am I misssing?

RE: External page

You can't just connect a horn to a station port and have it work. You will need an amplifier or interface between the IP Office and the horn. I would call Valcom and ask what they recommend.

My bad, of course there is a 24 volt power supply for the horn. Sorry i forgot to mention that. Is there any thing else in programming?

RE: External page

Just did this yesterday. I used analog extension port 25 connected to "phone in" on a Viking RAD unit. 600ohm terminals to tip/ring of amp. In your case, direct to horn. Program a page button with dial ICM page to ext. 25 and works great.
