Layer 2 teaming NIC card ?

Layer 2 teaming NIC card ?

(OP)
Is there such a thing as a PCI card that has 2 or more Ethernet RJ45 that internally are ONE ip address/mac address and on the outside only one or the other port will be used. in other words, hardware (transparent) bonding/teaming failover or any of those kinds of things. Such that I could plug the NIC into two separate switches and the local OS only ever sees ONE NIC card. The nic on the external side would appear like a switch ? I have been searching and found ones that use SOFTWARE on the OS like BASP but I would like a LAYER2 solution. Has anyone here done this before ?
