Email notification with policy logs

Email notification with policy logs

(OP)
We have many SSG5 Juniper firewalls in our small offices with a site to site VPN with split tunneling. Only the internal traffic is tunneled and internet access is via local ISP.

I have set up a policy in all of these to block certain IPs from getting access outside and would like to know if there is a way that the firewall can send an email notification as soon as a log is made with this certain policy. This way I will not have to check seven firewalls multiple times a day to see if a new log entry in present.

Thanks in advance!

RE: Email notification with policy logs

I don't recall seeing any option like that associated with policy logs. That would be a nice option to have available. The policy log entries are separate items from the main traffic logs for alarms and other activity. You probably want to contact Juniper Networks support for more information, or suggest a new option.
