Is possible to set Google Chrome, in vb6 classic, as Internet explorer?
Tks.

note:
actually is use:
Dim objIE As InternetExplorer

RE: setting Google Chrome as IE in vb6

The simple answer is no. Neither neither Chrome or Firefox have the necessary automation object to allow this, I'm afraid.

RE: setting Google Chrome as IE in vb6

I have had trouble running the Vb6 internet browser in Windows7 64 bit.
While it will show on the form and the code appears to load files OK. the result is blank/
I noticed when I installed an app made in Win7 32 bit in my 64 bit machine, I got an error message referring to "Internet Control" in PDW when it was installing.
Is there a different OCX I should be using in 64bit?

You seem to be thread hijacking, Ted. Can you repost separately?
