Format Painter In Design View

Format Painter In Design View

(OP)
Is there a way to copy the format characteristics of one text box and apply it to other text boxes in one or two steps by using
something like the 'Format Painter' we all know and love in Word? Can be time consuming to fiddle about with fonts, colours and sizes for a uniform look on a header or footer sometimes.

I am using Visual Studio 2010 with SSRS 2008.

Thanks

RE: Format Painter In Design View

I've only found two ways:

1) Format a column with the desired characteristics, then append columns from the dataset. The appended column will inherit some (not all) of the attributes of the column to the left.

2) Press F7 and VERY carefully edit the RDL code with copy/paste.

You're right; this would be a great feature.
