Passing muli-value parameter to a multi-value parameter

Passing muli-value parameter to a multi-value parameter

(OP)
I am trying to use the jump to report function and pass a multi-valued parameter to a second report. I have tried using the split and join syntax without success. Both report parameters have the values supplied in the available values selection. I copied the code for the parameter from xml from one to the other to be sure they are exact but I am still having issues.
The syntax that I think should work but doesn't is: =Split(Join(Parameters!TypeOfTransitions.Value,","),",")

Thanks!
SSRS is MS Visual Studio 2010
