decrypt a code

decrypt a code

(OP)
Hi,
One of my colleague had written a function in Oracle & have encrypted it.
The original code not available as the hard disk crashed. sad
We need to modify the code, Is there a way to decrypt the code ?

TIA
Raj

RE: decrypt a code

Do you have the original encryption command, including the encryption key? If you don't have the key with which the code was encrypted, then you cannot decrypt. sad

Perhaps what you mean is that the code is "Wrapped".
Unfortunately you cannot unwrap wrapped code, it would entirely defeat the purpose of wrapping!

WOW, just found this Un-wrapper and it seems to work.

LKBrwnDBA, your last 2 posts go very nice with your little Chinese proverb smile

Have fun.
