We are trying to automate the transfer of SPSS tables to a word document, but are having trouble doing it.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

In the Output-SPSS window: right click the table and CopyObjects. In Word: Paste, that's all (at least that;s how it easily works in SPSS for Windows V10)

Hoef

We have been able to do that, but I am looking for a way to automate it through VBA code, so that it will copy a number of tables (263 tables) to word.

thanks

Try this link...if this page doesn't have what you need my guess is it will be somewhere on the site.  This guy is awesome.

Piperp,
Thanks for the link. I too have used Ray's site and it is very useful. I was more curious about the logic that netcashin used is in, I presume, creating and exporting the tables to Word. I have a process that creates, expand, modifies, then exports OLAP cubes to excel but I am having trouble figuring out how to place the exported cubes into different excel worksheets.

If I am understanding you correctly, all you need to do in the Output file is go to:

Edit/ Select/ All Pivot Tables.

Then

File/ Export/

* Selected files
* Word/RTF file

This will spit out everthing in your output file nice and clean.
