HTTP Service on Juniper SSG - 20 fails consistently

HTTP Service on Juniper SSG - 20 fails consistently

(OP)
Hi
I have a juniper router - SSG20
The HTTP service on the router fails consistently

Can you help me in bringing up this service again and what causes this serivce to fail ?

Right now i do not have access to the web console as the serivce is down

RE: HTTP Service on Juniper SSG - 20 fails consistently

I would first ask how you have admin access configured on the unit?
Can you connect to the console port on the front of the SSG20?
Can you Telnet or SSH or SSL to the SSG20?
Are you accessing it locally or remotely?
Is the PC working correctly? the browser?

I would first ask how you have admin access configured on the unit? It was configured by GUI through the web interface
Can you connect to the console port on the front of the SSG20? The unit is at the remote site , i do not have physical access to it
Can you Telnet or SSH or SSL to the SSG20? I can Telnet to the unit
Are you accessing it locally or remotely? accessing it remotely
Is the PC working correctly? the browser? the browser is working fine

RE: HTTP Service on Juniper SSG - 20 fails consistently

If the HTTP fails, how did you configure the SSG20 with HTTP (GUI)? Are you using an approved browser? Does it fail from other locations? Provide the failure details. Maybe you should use HTTPS instead. Post a print of the configuration.
