ExecuteReader Connection Closed

(OP)
Hello,
I am a Report Developer using SSRS 2008 - and have just begun at a new company, and unfortunately they are brand new to Reporting Services on the admin side...and I am simply a developer who has never had to go behind the curtain on the actual server part of it.

I am curently getting an error for a report I am trying to publish, that has multiple datasets, multiple parameters based on some of those datasets -- Only one DataSOURCE(SQL Server 2008) -- and an error that has us all stumped.

ExecuteReader requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed.

Where would my administrator need to go to "open" this connection.

ANY help would be SO greatly appreciated...thank you.

Sincerely,
Brenda L.
