Ping timeout from specific server

Ping timeout from specific server

(OP)
hi,

The problem is as follows:

We have 2 networks that are connected through a wireless bridge.
One network has a 10.0.0.0/24 range and the other a 172.16.0.0/16 range.
One host on the 10 network is not pingable from a specific host in the 172 range.
All the other host can ping that host from the 10 network.
I've eliminated firewall issues and routing issues.
The host in the 10 range is a printer (i can't ping from the printer) and the host in the 172 is a Windows 2008 R2 server.
This has never been a problem until we switched an unmanaged switch with a newer version of itself.
I can't imagine it being that otherwise other hosts in the 172 wouldn't be able to ping that host either but they can.
I'm a bit baffled as to what exactly is causing this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
