Change the page to reflect the link name

Change the page to reflect the link name

(OP)
Hi

I installed a template using WordPress 3.5.2.

There were several menu links across the top e.g. Home, About, Menu List, Contact Us etc

I changed the Menu List to Reviews which is ok.

However, when you hover over or click the link it takes you a page called menu list.

I have looked on the appearance tab within the admin panel but cannot for the likes of me find out how to change the actual page name from Menu list to Reviews to reflect that of the menu item name.

Can someone please advise me?

Thank you

RE: Change the page to reflect the link name

Edit the page and change the 'slug'.

Chris.

Hi Chris

Thank you for the reply. I'm quite new to this so I will take a look and post back.

Ok, here's the weird thing. When you go into pages, I can see some of the menus items but not all of them. I can see what you mean by the slug.

Here is the test website I'm trying to work on: www.test-website.co.uk

I can find "The Tea Rooms" and "Contact Us" but the others I'm at a loss. I've looked through pages, widgets and everything in the admin panel menu but to no avail.

I have considered having a look via phpmyadmin but I think this would be defeating the object.

Theme was purchased from TemplateMonster.com

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you

Steve

Think I found it! I changed the name in Appearance > Menu. I've changed this back, gone into pages, changed the name (and slug) there and now it's showing as it should.

Thanks for the reply (Chris) it gave me some inspiration!

Steve
