Would I be right in thinking that when running Monitor, and going into Alarms, and seeing entries which say "Brownout", that this is a power issue, but does it mean the IPO is getting dodgy power, or that the IPO's psu is faulty? (The other alternative is that the system has come across an issue that has made it soil itself, which probably isn't a good thing either)

Brownout is a voltage sag. Unfortunately you can't say whether its the PSU or Mains. Only way to know is to put a UPS on it. If it still goes then it's a PSU. What IPO is it? 500v1?

You could measure voltage using a meter. Dont know the exact avaya IPO voltage for brown out but I suppose that it would be perhaps 10 to 20 volts lower than standard. Perhaps you can guess where Brownout threshold by looking at the voltage specifications in the matrix. I would suspect that a brownout would be on the supply side so not IPO fault.
