Hi all

3300 AX on 5.0 SP1 with Ascom i62 handsets

The phones do not keep date and time information. I have programmed an NTTP time server into the handsets via the WINPDM tool. The reason for this is that Mitel TS have suggested that this is the only way these sets will get the correct date and time information contradicting the Ascom documentation that states if the field for the NTTP server information is left blank the phones will use the IP address of the PBX.

Extract from Ascom documentation below.

In the NTP server field, enter the address to the time server. If not set, the IP PBX
address is used

Has anyone been able to set these phones up to get date and time information from the 3300. My next visit to site I will simply try to enter the IP address of the 3300 into this field.

Thanks

We have always used a local router as the NTP source

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Have you tried upgrading the firmware in the Handset to the latest version?
