I have a DN I need to ring on 2 separate TNS. There is already a phone programmed at the location, and I tried a CHG with no success. From what I've read, you need to have a phone already programmed at the extension. Here is the PRT of the phone I'm trying to overwrite:

CODE -->

DN 6663
     CPND
       NAME INSIDE VIEW
       XPLN 13
       DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST
TYPE SL1
TN 003 0 00 03 KEY 00 MARP DES A10006 9 AUG 2012
     (3902)

I'm trying to have DN 6683 ring at that location, and remove 6663 from the phone. I tried a CHG request as below:

CODE

REQ: chg
TYPE: 3902
TN 3 3
ECHG yes
ITEM dn SCH0101

Whenever I hit space after the dn I get the SCH0101 error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Always print the phone before you do any work. That will clear up some confusion. The DN of that phone type is on a KEY

KEY x SCR yyyy z

x - key number
yyyy - dn
z - clid entry (would be mostly '0')

Thanks guys, I was able to get this working with the help of bhassell2000. Another thing to add to the knowledge banks.
