About every 2 months my Modular Messaging system stops answering. The server is still up, and the only alert is Event ID 1749 The Voice Mail Browser terminated and will be restarted.

It takes a reboot of the server to get it to respond again. This has occurred continually since installation. Does anyone know what maybe causing it. I need to stop it, not just reboot to make it work.

MM 5.2 SP 10 (I just did the updates after the last round of this issue)

Was this system recently upgraded from a lower release of MM?
Do you see Event ID 1822 also?
In the past this could be a problem with IIS?

The system was upgraded from a very old version of Intuity back in Dec. We have had this issue since upgrade. Yes we are receiving Event ID 1822 at the same time this is occurring.

I am not sure if it could be IIS, if you can point me to something to look at I would gladly do so.

Problem found if a upgrade was done from MM 2.0 to 5.2 as this is not supported. If done, then Avaya had to do something at the Linux level for repair. They found a problem with the IIS. Was this done at your site??

I am not sure if the took us to MM 2.0 before MM 5.2 since we were coming from intuity Audix. But I will toss it at the Avaya techs looking at this to see if they can check that. thanks
