The scenario is we need to install Cognos Transformer on unix environment ( HP IX 11.xx on Itanium).
As I found on IBM Support websites (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27024195) supported versions are only :

Supported versions 7.5 (Cognos Series 7 Version 5 FP1 Software Environments) :
HPUX 11i Version 3 PA-RISC (11.31) (?patches for 7.5?)?
Active?
HPUX 11i Version 2 PA-RISC (11.23) (?patches for 7.5?)?
Compatible?
HPUX 11i PA-RISC (11.11) (?patches for 7.5?)?
Compatible?

Unfortunately we have HP-UX on Itanium and my question is do you know anyone who has implemented Cognos 7.5 on unsupported software environments? Is there any solution? What are risks of installing transformer on unsuppored env?

This task is part of migration project from Cognos software 7.3 and 7.4 to 7.5 version. We want to avoid changing existing software on server.

Can you please send me any tips, links or write about similar issues...?

Thanks a lot !
