Looking at WiSys to implement barcoding, want to be able to receive, count, confirm pick,enter transactions using the barcode reader. Any one had experience with WiSys or any other solution for this? Any thing to look out for?

Currently using Wisys for the above. Best solution out there as a WMS system for Macola. User friendly and straight forward. We handle using both the Agiltiy platform and MC9090 barcode scanners.

Agility is awesome and can take Macola to an entirely new level, even without bar code scanners. Talk to Bob Hawk at Wisys about process grids. Imagine a grid that shows all open OE orders. From this grid, you can mass pick, ship and bill multiple orders at once, generate email notications or emailinvoices to the customer, etc. Agility makes this possible. And you do not have to be a developer to create Agility applications, you just need to know a few SQL statements which Wisys or your reseller can help you with.

When it comes to WMS,
The thing to look out for is trying to do too much all at once. Wisys is good at managing this as I beleive that they will make you fill out a needs analysis and provide a scope before starting a project.
