5621sw not displaying the time.

I have a user with a 5621sw phone and her display is showing her name with "PPPPPP" next to it. It was displaying the time/date. Thanks for any help on this.

Never seen it myself, but have heard that if you delete the extension (not the user) and recreate the extension that it will solve the issue.

I am assuming you tried an unplug/replug of the phone first though.

That does fix it, but only temporarily, this was a bug on late R5/early R6 if I remember correctly (could be earlier). Upgrading is the only permenant fix
