Recently installed a 2ND HAND tda 30 ( Upgraded MPR software to v5)all programmed ok from PC.
When I went to show the customer how to load speed dials found that I couldnt get in to programming mode from main phone. after dialling *# it throws me out.
I have check all the cos settings and all looks ok, defaulted the system and still has the same issue.
Any ideas?

Try ** (For User) or *1 (For Manager) and see if the same happens.

in class of service you have to allow prog **/*#, by default port 1 is in cos 64 which will allow access, but all others are in cos 1 which is not allowed, you can change it per cos in system cos settings

By default, under System > Class of service > Class of service settings.Manager (PROG **/*#) is enabled.

Go to Extension > Wired Extension > Extension settings .

Slot 1 > Port 1 and change the corresponding Class Of Service (COS) which by default is 1 to 64

Otoni79, it is only in cos 64 on the tda 30 by default and ext port 1 is set in cos 64, so if trying to program as manager or installer on any other ext it will not allow it
