I've got 6 Digial phones (4x2616 and 2xM3904) and one analog (1x500) with a MCR DN 2000 setup as a ring group. The analog line is connected to a ringer. The problem I'm having is the ringer will work 10-20 times then stay busy and no longer work. The digital phones continue to ring. If I disable / enable the port it will work again, for awhile. I've changed ringers from a ringer to a bell and back. How do I make this work consistantly? Is there a certain ringer / bell / interface that needs to be purchased?

The Analog card is a NT8D09AK RLSE 08

Have you tried to disconnecting the ringer to see if it becomes idle

No...What would that tell me?

That will tell you if the ringer is holding the line up. I would try a TN on another analog line card.

Find more at GHTROUT.com

FYI: Disconnected the ringer and the line stayed busy...
Moved to another card. Working fine for the last couple hours.

Thanks...
