Hello-

I have a crystal report wherein the report I have groups, each group there is a name and types of issues they have resolved from either Email, Live chat, or Telephone.

What i am trying to do per group is to count how many emails they have resolved as well as phone calls and Live Chats.....I need each of these as a separate total.

what i have tried so far id to create a formula in which is says if this = this then "1", if this = this then "2"..................that worked, however I could not get a count of how many 1's or 2's there were.

Any help would be appreciated.

I got it.....wooohooooo.
I used a running total field instead with a small expression.
If you know of an easier way...please feel free and share.

Running totals will work, but there are limits on what you can do with them. A normal conditional total is more flexible. See these links:
