I am trying to set up One-x mobile for the first time. The IP Office is on version 8.0.43 with the UC module installed running VM Pro and One-x.

The site does not have a domain controller or any servers.

I setup a FQDN that resolves to their public IP at no-ip.com.

I am a little unsure of the setup for the XMPP portion. I attached a screenshot. The host and target are the same host name. I tried to add something in front of the host name in the target box but it just goes back to the original one that was in there. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It does not look like the traffic from the mobile client is hitting the firewall based on the firewall log.

We just recently got this set up at our office using your same hardware. Once you set your FQDN as the XMPP save the changes in the UC and restart the One-X service. Remember that One-X service takes anywhere from 10-15 minutes to completely restart. We ran into the problem that we could use it on the LAN but once we left the office and connected over 4G it would not work. Once we set the FQDN as the XMPP and restarted and was PATIENT enough to let it restart it worked. Android or iFail oops I mean iPhone? JK

Did you have to do anything with the SRV records for your FQDN?

I didn't set the FQDN server up but I talked to the guy who did. He said all he did is point the Domain to the Public IP.

Thanks. I was totally overthinking this. It seems to work without doing any of the extra stuff with my domain name.

Did you get it working?
