I'm looking for a Samsung Galaxy and am noticing [link http://electronics.pricegrabber.co.uk/samsung+galaxy/results.html]here[/link] that the Y and the S have a difference of almost $300 in price. Is this correct? Is the S really that much better than the Y? I've talked with salesman but I want to hear from others who have purchased the phone. Thank you!

Yes. The Galaxy Y is Samsung's Entry level phone, while Galaxy S II is their flagship phone.

The differences in the Display, camera, 3G ranges, internal RAM, battery life etc... make the S II the better phone.

A couple of links to an easy to read list of features for both phones.

Thank you so much. I didn't know if it was really all that much better, but it sounds like from everyone in all of these different forums that the S is really good quality. Thank you for the links!
