Hello All,

I am trying to add the send as permission for an user to a public folder, however through the public folder management console it does not work...

I added the send as permission however after waiting 3 hours I still get the error that I don't have the permission to send.

So I tried to do it in powershell with no luck, it can't seem to find the public folder path. (see below)

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Add-ADPermission \LondonOfficeManager -User <domain\user> -Extendedrights "Send As"
\LondonOfficeManager wasn't found. Please make sure you've typed it correctly.
+ CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (0:Int32) [Add-ADPermission], ManagementObjectNotFoundException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : 3DE7EE37,Microsoft.Exchange.Management.RecipientTasks.AddADPermission

I tried finding the path of the public folder however all it returns is "\"

Any ideas? If any more info is needed ask away.

Many thanks,

Jamie

Hi,

This isn't an exchange permissions issue.

Have you considered deleting the offline address book from the client and then restarting
