Hello, here's what I've got. My client has 3 locations. At one of the locations they would like incoming calls to ring 2 phones then forward to an extension at another office. I've got the main hunt group setup for sequential ringing with 3 users. The first two users are extensions within the office, the last user is a phantom extension that forwards unconditionally to a short code that sends the calls to an extension in another office. Calls between offices work fine, if I dial the short code it works fine. When you call the main number the call rings the first ext, then the second, then bounces back to the first ext in a continuous loop. Here is some data from the monitor:

When you upgrade to 5.0 then you will have an option called distributed huntgroups.
When you check the option "advertise huntgroup" then you can add users from other systems in a SCH to that group.
This works much easier and better.

Do they need an SCN license in order for this function to work?

Isn't it a SCN yet?
Yes do you need SCN licenses for this.

Nope. Mixture of a cheap client and the original company the installed the system cut corners. I'll let them know they need a license. Thanks for your help!

Does anyone know if the SCN license can be installed on a 406 or small office edition?

The 400 series does not need the license.
So if you have a SOE _small office or 401ng) a 406 or a 412 already running 4..1 then you can upgrade and you can enable SCN without a license.

According to the Avaya Matrix the Small Office Edition can be upgraded to 4.2. Will this version allow me to enable the SCN without a license? The 406 is running 4.2, does it need to be upgraded as well?
