Here are my notes for password recovery that should cover your situation:

Lost all System Passwords (UCM and CS)
Recovery:
Linux base CLI (reset nortel and root passwords)
1. Insert the linux base install media into the server
2. Reboot the Server
3. At the “boot:” prompt type recovery-com1 (10 seconds to start typing)
4. Select the menu items to reset the root and nortel passwords
5. Follow those steps to reset
6. Then choose the reboot option once finished
7. Remove the install media while rebooting
8. Validate passwords on CLI

UCM Web Interface (reset admin password)
1. Browse to https://{FQDN or IP}/local-login
2. Use the new nortel login and password to access
3. Once logged in, change the URL to https://{FQDN or IP}/passwordReset
4. On this page input “admin” for the user account and create/confirm a new password
5. Then logout completely
6. Browse to https://{FQDN or IP}
7. Use “admin” to login with new password and then you will be prompted to change the password. (If you used the IP address in the previous step, you will need to click the link “Change Password” located under the login button. Fill in the appropriate boxes and return to the main login page to login.

allenmac that is good information to have. Thanks for sharing. To the original poster, if you didn't change the password expiry in UCM after the installation then the password will automatically expire 90 days after install.
