I am running MM 5.2 with 2 MAS Servers. When you make a change to anything in the VMSC (Voice Mail System Configuration, when you click 'ok' does it automatically replicate to the other MAS Server or do you need to make the change on both? I want to change the minimum password length field from 1 digit to 4 digits. I know where to go in the configurator to do it, but don't know if I have to do it on both servers and if it requires a reboot of both.

At that level it would be applied to the VMD level and all servers in that VMD would get that change. If it requires a restart it will let you know when you hit the Apply or Ok button after the change to let you know to restart services, which would apply to all MAS servers in the VMD.

On a side note your system having a single digit TUI pass code is far from secure so I'm glad you are changing it to something longer. If you are using the Exchange/Notes backend I would increase that to 6 or more, but 4 is the default setting MM usually has.

No but it is best to reboot MAS1 first.

Are you saying MAS1 because it is usually the DC or because that's where the services are running (MWI,Call Me, Mailbox Monitor)?? Only because currently my MAS servers are on my corporate domain and MAS2 is the one running the services mentioned.

The best path for reboot is to do the MAS servers in order of how they are listed in your VMD. Usually this is MAS1, then MAS2 and so on.

If MAS1 is your DC for your MM for MSS system, which it sounds like it is not in your case, then you should probably wait for MAS1 to fully come up and wait about 10 minutes or so before attempting to reboot subsequent MAS servers.
