CS1K not registering to gatekeeper after backup gatekeeper setup

Hi all ,

I have a cs1k at site A running 6.0 which registers to the NRS at Site A. I also have multiple Cs1k's at sites B,C,D and E registering to the NRS at Site A. We have setup the Node at site B to be the backup NRS for nodes C,D and E in the event of a catastrophic failure at site A.

We went ahead and setup the node at site B as the backup NRS however, the node at site B has since failed to regeister to the NRS after B was undeployed as a memeber of the main NRS at site A and redeployed as a BACKUP NRS.

Since this was done the site B has failed to come up as both a memeber nor a backup node.

what possible could we have missed here?

So site B was a fail safe NRS and you tried to undeploy it and make it a back NRS, correct? Is this a backup or member server? I'm guessing you may need to remoce the old NRS out of the Tree View of UCM.
