IP 500 V2 fresh out of the box. 8.0.18 software with it.

I need to downgrade to 6.0.14.. (Customer with a SCN running 6.0.14 and wants to add a new site but, does not want to pay for upgrades to other sites.

1st question can I down grade to 6.0.14.
2nd question is how?

I loaded the 6.0 manager and tried to downgrade but files fail to load.

I suppose I can downgrade to a 7.0.x
or could I format the SD card and reload 6.0 on that???

Is there any other ways I am missing.. Besides upgrading other sites

Any help is appreciated.

Easiest way is to format and recreate the card with a card reader, system will sort itself out upon booting smile

Make sure there are no combo cards in that unit. Combo cards won't work on 6.0.

You can do that without a problem.
About the upgrading, sometimes you need to reset the security settings.
I have had it too last time when the SD card cam eon 8.0.18
This has nothing to do with the card i think but this is not the first time on 8.0

Ok funny story! Was told by my distributer and also ATAC I could format the SD card and reformat to 6.1.22 or 7.0.23 and all would be well.
When I try to login it says I am in IP Office mode but when I open config it is partner mode..extns 10 - 57
I have reformatted 3 times same results

Must be something I am missing.. any ideas
