I read over the thread333-1131291: Icons in IIS Console--'gear' and 'Folder'--difference? entry but can't find the "create" button anywhere in IIS 6.

However it is finally EXPLAINED what these icons mean

OK, has anyone ever made a legend to go with a GUI? Maps have them, you know. :)

I looked on every globe in IIS on the site I'm working with and can't find a create button anywhere. Is it possible it only reads "create" once in the button text and once configured it always reads something else? Maybe I need to start up a new application and walk through making it available on an intranet in order to ever see the "Create" button.

Thanks,

Mike

Your question should/will get better responses when asked in forum41: Microsoft: Internet Information Server which is IIS specific. This board is for questions relating to the Active Server Pages framework and programming issues, and as such is not particularly busy these days. Just a few ASP dinosaurs/diehards left still roaming their steadily diminishing territory. smile

By the way, that is where the question you found us by should be if all things were equal.

Chris.
