In reply to your post 5-23, you are correct, there is no feature 968. The feature you want is F*9 which is "RUN/STOP".
I am makeing an assumption that No. 1- the sets are M73XX and No. 2 have memory buttons that are misslabled as F968 instead of F986. The original installer just used this button on the sets without changing the lables and over time for what ever reason the run/stop feature is not on the memory button.

The processor doesn't recognize F968 but sees the 9 only in the comand string. F*9 is RUN/STOP, the feature you want.

You need to reply to actual post in CP forum.

F*9 is to add another number to auto dial buttons.

Trying to get Mountainbear's attention be for he took some bad advise- someone sugested he unplug the 8x24 and plug it back in. That would erase all info in the Call Log buffer. His customer is a Law Office which relies on the call log for billing. He could have retrieved the partial call log manualy be for unplugging.
An SMDR problem is not a Call Pilot issue, although it originated on the CP forum, I had hoped someone with SMDR experience would weigh in. As for the run/stop F*9, this feature can be used to insert a break-pause in the comand string when useing a 'single' memory button to both enter a feature command and set user's SMDR access code (early release) of DR software
I think all for not though, his last post says his customer has not called back.
