Turn VM Alerts on and off from telephone sets

Got an IP 500v2 running release 8 and Voicemail Pro; How do we setup a shortcode so users can toggle voicemail to email alerts from their telephone sets? I understand on embedded voicemail you can use the below shortcodes.

Thoughts / suggestions?

• *01 - Sets the Voicemail Email mode to Forward.
• *02 - Sets the Voicemail Email mode to Alert.
• *03 - Sets the Voicemail Email mode to Off.

Take a look in the embedded VM user guide. Needs to be done through the VM TUI or VV button.

Hi Jamie,

This is for VM PRO not Embedded...

In VMpro use a generic action to change the setting.
example
create a module emailoff
add a generic action to turn vm to email off
create a shortcode *99, TN = "emailoff" action = Voicemail Collect

repeat this for the other states

Voicemail Email Mode 0 (Off), 1 (Copy), 2 (Forward), 3 (Alert).

Pres F1 when editing a generic action in the vm pro client

If it ain't dutch it ain't much
