thread689-1518943: Serial to Ethernet Adapters

Looking for help configuring this and getting it to work. I took my adapter and cable I normally use with WinSPM (V5) and put it to a Lanronix SD1101. I setup an IP on it (static) on the network at the Magix system location. I setup the redirector software that it comes with to map COM3 @ 2400 baud to that IP and port 10001. Fails to connect.

Any information would be greatly appreciated...

You mean the SDS 1101? That has a 25 pin connector which I believe is wired DCE. The SDS replaces a modem as I recall. Is there a setting to change the port to DTE? Try a null modem adapter on it.
